Service Description: The designated land use for a particular area is a reflection of the County's Comprehensive Plan. It is a generalized designation which may contain multiple zoning designations which fit within that category. Land use changes are done through the Comprehensive Plan amendment process. Changes are administered annually following the BOCC public hearing and decision; usually in November or December.
